There’s just something incredibly beautiful, both romantic and eerie at the same time, about shipwrecks. They’re nostalgic, reminding us of past events and people, and sometimes creepy, when you think about what could have transpired there and the people that lost their lives due to the ship sinking.

This is the SS Ayrfield, it’s 105 years old and it’s now abandoned somewhere in Australia. It was built in the UK, registered in Sydney as a steam collier and later used in World War II to bring supplies to American troops in the Pacific region.
